What percentage of Internet traffic is Adult oriented?

Today at school we had a guest speaker talking about this stuff, and he said that 85% of online traffic is adult oriented..

I knew this was complete b.s.

Now I checked it out on the net, and some guys said it was 83%, but this was later confirmed to be completely untrue..

Later I found that its about 30%, which makes sense because it was said on Jim cramer himself that 30% of google searches are adult oriented....

What do you guys think,, I feel people saying 85% of internet is adult oriented makes me wanna just get into this huge argument of how many millions pages there are out there, of quality informative infformation that me and all you digital poitn members provide.

What percentage do u guys think it is?

 

I doubt it is anywhere near 85%. I guess it could be around 30% but my guess would be even lower.

 

are you sure he didn't mean 83% of internet traffic are adults?

 

hahahaha yah maybe I missintepreted that whole talk was even about sex and chasity

 

Well you know, according to my stats men think about sex 98% of the time

 

Again I don't know how accurate it is but the Wordtracker results always say "Due to the nature of the internet it is simply a fact that about 20 - 25 % of search engine queries are of this nature (adult)."

Seems about right to me.
