Which of these parameters do you use to pick products to promote? $/sale: - | Future $: - | Total $/sale: - | %/sale: - | %refd: - | grav: -
Well, just make sure the commission per sale is at least $20 and the product has some gravity, like 20-30... Usually the more gravity the better, but don't judge the products entirely by gravity.
If I understand it right, higher gravity means there are more affiliate promoting it and making sales.. ahem not sure if that's a good thing or not though. Is there a way to see refund rates or some customer review for products?
Gravity don't mean anything - or the quality of the product. It's all about conversion. Top converting products will always make you more money because you'll have tpnsend less traffic to male sales, lowering your costs and boosting your profit The top converting products normally find theo at to the top of the marketplace. That's why a lot of adds promote them Hope that helps R
Too high gravity generally means its very competitive. However if you get #1 in google for the product name you'll generally make a lot of sales if your landing page is good.
Gravity = conversion, to some extent. If 1000 affiliates promote a poorly converting product, the gravity will stay low because few will make sales. If those same 1000 affiliates promote a high converting product, the gravity will shoot up because they're all making sales. So gravity is an important indicator of the saleability of a product, BUT... it's not the be all and end all. Many new products simply don't have enough affiliates to create the gravity, not because of poor conversion, but just because of niche selection, launch timing, or any number of other issues. I generally choose the payout (above $20-25 as many have said), how old the product is, quality of the sales page and applicability of the offer to the market. I'll also check traffic levels for relevant keywords along with PPC and organic competition, and lastly check the gravity of the product itself and gravity trends over the last month or so. These are usually quite snap decisions though. I don't spend weeks researching. The best thing to do is throw up a quick campaign and see how it goes, and if it goes well - expand.
I look for those uncompetitive little niches with products that have like 5-10 gravity.. I know it sells, and I figure out how to market it
$/sale: It is the average sale price from the affiliates. The higher it is, the more benefits affiliates will get. So it is an important aspect when you choose some products to promote. Choose the highest one to ensure your maximum earnings. grav: Just like others said, it can tell you the market competition. You may confuse what gravity is best for you. Choose the gravity between 20 and 90. But you should not take it as the standard. You should combine $/sale: | grav: and choose the best one. After reading this, I think you know how to start earnings now.
