What paid directories do you use?

• BOTW - good
• Joeant - pretty good
• GoGuides - ok
• Skaffe - sitewide links aren't so good

 

Skaffe is getting much better.

Botw is very good.

I'd add Gimpsy to that list.

 

But DMOZ pretty much equals Google Directory.

 

Interesting bump of a very old thread. Things have changed quite a bit since it first started.

 

I use my own directories LoL.I don't think paying for pagerank is necessary.I only paid for the domain and hosting and now waiting for next pagerank update.

aviva directory looks cool.I'd submit to that.

 

I checked joeant directory and there is no category for free classifieds there are other categories available like, internet marketing tools etc. I am afraid that if i submit and my site gets declined will i get my money back?

 

We have the topic Classified Ads. And there are several subtopics available.

You can also sign up as an editor. Submit your site (as long at it is according our guidelines) in the right subtopic, and wait until it is approved. This is mostly within a week. No further obligations!

Things have changed, most of the paid directories that were valuable in 2008 are now worthless. Everybody lost its pagerank, except for directorydump and portprophecy (unadir) lol, good job an0n
