Howdy, I just moved to a new domain: Poker Eagles Following points are what I have paid close attention in the design: - Choice of folder and file pages - Using <h1> and <h2> tags throughout the site - Using htaccess to redirect non www. to www. and index.php, index.html and such to the root directory - Using keyword and description Meta tags - Designing with CSS and DIV such that the content is on top (before the menus and header and such) - Created sitemap and submitted it to search engies - Used bold and italic words for my keywords (not extensively though) - 301 redirected all the pages from the old site to the corresponding pages on the new site - used title and alt tags on all my pictures - used title tags on the links (some of them, not all) Is there anything that I've completely missed? I thing placing all javascripts into external js files, and validating the code would also help to get better rankings.
