Does their terms say they can withold payments if you remove ads from their site?

 

Their term say you must submit a cancellation of your account to remove their code... they ignored that request. It gets worse, Dan.

If you quit a job (for whatever reason...) would you accept that employer not paying you the remainder of your earning?

I think not.

I'm trying to warn other webmasters of their business practices.

Whatever their terms are... not paying is not acceptable.

I'm from Kontera. Webray, this story sounds very strange. I'd like to hear more about it and see what I can do to help. According to out terms of service, we must be notified 30 days before you leave our services. There's no reason why your payment should be withheld if you have notified us and received our response.
Kontera has no interest in taking away a Publisher's good earned cash, much less in stealing $350.
