what online business expenses do you have?

hi everyone, i just wanted to ask what costs we can write off as expenses when we run an online business. so far i can think of:

-VAT on any hardware purchased(eg new laptop)
-advertising costs

If you run your business online can you please add to this

I pay 10$ to Hostgator for Hosting Purposes.
30$ to Vonage to US FREE IP Phone.
350$ to Maruti Suzuki Pvt Ltd for my Car's Installment
400-500$ Online Shoppping
So per month,i have all these commitments..

ok i never thought og hosting fees or broadband bill,

can you tell me how you would wrtie off "400-500$ Online Shopping" as an expense?

can anybody else add to this?

yes it is an expense,as every month,i have to buy too many electronic stuffs from Indiaplaza.In or else from eBay.In

None currently, usually people have hosting costs though.

 

Website maintenance cost
Website designing cost
Website staff cost

 

Paper, Ink, Computer (components; printer, scanner, etc.), Office Space, Internet, or any other utilities that you pay if have an office.

 

Any thing you pay out to run your business (domain purchase and renewal, office space, utilities, internet service, hosting, web development, etc..)

 

In Australia,

If you have an office at home you can claim a portion of:

- Land rates
- electricity
- water bill
and more.

Perhaps its the same in your country.
