If your on the second page, push to get on 1st page

Being on the 1st page make such a difference compare to second page, I would say you receive over 90% more traffic being on 1st page, but this depends on many factors, if the sites ranked on the 1st page dont give much usefull information that most people are looking for when typing in that keyword many people will go to second page, alot more factors are involved.

It's hard to say the exact percentage but if your site is found on the first page, it has a lot more chances to receive more clicks, compared to being listed on second page. People usually search on second page if they don't find what they look for on sites listed on first page results.

I think it all depends on if the user is able to find what they are looking for on the first page. I tend to go as far in as 3, 4, or even 5 pages sometimes if I cant find exactly what I am looking for. (just noticed this was mentioned above ^ so, I agree! :)

Yeah, I agree with you, there is also a great difference being a site on 1st page of Google but in lower rank because many users just click on top 3 or four links then after they normally change their keyword to find the their search.
