Lets say the targeted keyword has 50K searches per month on google and your website in on no 3. 1 or 2 Ads are also displayed on top (along with ads on right side of google). What no. of visitors should we expect on Avg, provided your title is good to get attention of the visitor? And what will be difference if you are on no. 1 position? Please share your experience?
With 50,000 searches, there should be 50 unique visitors. Being #3 should be 8. Being #1 should be 14. This is for a 2 word keyword, medium competition. What make everything so low is the following: Target keyword: Internet Marketing How many searches are made with the word "internet" in it? How many searches are made with the word "marketing" in it? How many searches are made with the words "internet" and "marketing" in it? And finally, how many exact matches for the phrase "internet marketing"? All search per month numbers for all SEs are always wrong. Don't us it for your "business analysis". I'm number 1 for many keywords and never receive a click. Google has big numbers on it, but no real "customers". Just competitors that want to see where they are in the SERPs.
