You know what really baffles me? How they're starting on Vienna and Vista is nowhere near perfect...

That would be totally wicked but somone would eventually crack it as its "Windows" but the only reason why I think windows always ends up being cracked or hacked, is the majority of the world uses the windows OS and so do most most businesses and corporations so who gives a shit about hacking macs as no real important business use macs so hackers never bother with crappy macs.

BTW im a linux lover. :)

Yes. It was called Lindows. But they have now changed the name to Linspire due to trademark issues from Microsoft.

To answer your question, the next operating system from Microsoft will be called Vienna, or Windows Vienna.

Vienna is just a codename. Just like vista was codenamed longhorn. We still dont know what the final name will be.

Additionally, linspire is NOT a combination of windows and linux. What do you mean by combination, anyway?
Its just a linux distro which is designed to look like windows.

MS is working on the new OS because people spent truckloads of money for a new pretty interface that has too many problems. I have run XPPro for years with plenty of speed and no security or stability issues at all. I will never change until I absolutely have too. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
