Hi People, I have just finished creating an ebook in a niche I know a lot about. The ebook is a How To .. guide - how to get in an elite career. I have the finished product in Word format and already established a link with another websmaster who sells ebook career guides - my product is already on sale on that site, which gets a lot of traffic. However, as he is only selling it on his website, I decided to set up my own website and sell my product there. I am in the process of setting up the 'sales page' getting a few ideas from his site. I have some moderate skills in marketing online, but have never put up my own product on the web, so I wanted some advice. What next now after I have created this product? Any feedback greatly appreciated
make a landing page that promotes the ebook. Market it to any social networking sites. For more information about social networking sites.. Click here
Here are two I came across: http://dotcompreneur.com/free-landing-page-template http://zacjohnson.com/create-killer-landing-pages-free-template/
You should make a sales letter page also known as squeeze page. Promote your product in it's best way that those who came to your website should think they have to get it. of course some of them are not sure.. here comes the teaser to get their email address. prompt them a form for their email address and send them a mini course with some advices on the field of your book for free. that way they give you their email and you can send them good valuable info to show them you are serious in your field. that would give them more reason to buy your book and even better for future products you have their email. i recommand you to do this with autoresponder such as aweber or getresponse. good luck.
I use a PLR site for my landing pages templates and graphics cause I am crap at the sort of thing I highly recommend you buy $7/scirpt- it really is only $7 and it includes the code to allow you to set up a paypal pay button which will mean the customer pays into yorur account direct - you don't have to charge $7 lOL - also does the one time offer stuff too
