First of all,I would like to thank all DP users as I have gained lots of knowledge from this site. Ok, so I launched a site 2 months back and followed all the marketing techniques like social bookmarking,directory listing,press releases,adwords,link exchange,banner exchange blah blah blah And so all of those techniques worked and I got around 6500 registered users in 2 months.So, I am wondering now what next?? Like I am sort of limited in terms of traffic i am getting from these sites...how can i start to reach wider audience.So,it would be great if someone can tell what are the next steps from here to make the site a great hit .... i would like to reach a target of 1,00,000 users. And moreover since i do not have any financer please do not advice me options like spend $1,000 on adwords/every day....i know that would bring in lot's of traffic but unfortunately i don't have that much bucks in my pocket. Thanks to all of you...
First of all you should tell us what is your site about. Every niche/site type has different things to do.
I agree with you, also are this 6500 members related to your niche or did you just gather them from everwhere possible
Sorry guys, My site is a sports (cricket) based website and yeah all the 6500 users are fans of that particular sport and not from anywhere.... Guys, now can you provide some helpful info ....
create a report based on sports on "How To" topic and send your registered users some tips on each week or maybe every 2-3 days, then insert a link to offer them the comprehensive of how to report. If you are not a good writer, don't worry, go to buy,sell and trade section of DP and ask a ghost writer to write a report for you. Remember, you need to keep up a closer relation with your subscribers for long term business since you have built up the registered users based. Is a good start...
