What needs to be done to protect ones assets?

    I've registered myself as an LLC
    I've gotten my federal EIN to banking purposes.

    Does anyone know what else needs to be done to protect your own personal assets?

    Do I have to change all my domains to the business name?

    Also, do i have to change all my bank accounts I use for online marketing to the business name?

    Everything related to company should be in LLC name so your not liable in any way

    Thanks, one other quick question. Do I need to get a DBA since my LLC name is not my real name or is the LLC the same as a DBA?

    You do not need a DBA to conduct business in the name of your LLC.

    The main thing to remember is do not co-mingle LLC funds and personal fiunds.

    I would move all domains into the LLC's name. Also, you will probably want to change most of your accounts with ad networks to now pay your LLC and use your EIN.

    Personally, I found it easier to just apply again. So I have 2 adsense accounts, 2 adbrite accounts, 2 cj.com accounts, etc. Am in in the long process of converting all my domains from personal to LLC and likewise I am changing most of the ad code to reflect that as well.
