I am Horror or thriller buff, but i don't usually like the over the top stuff by Quenton Tarantino because it seems like the characters and storylines are based on trying to be cool or deliberately trying to shock ya...which they don't. Basically I like movies that don't show you where they are going but keep you on your toes the whole time.
Here's a movie that not many people know about that has been very important to me for a long while: "Being There". It was my favorite film of Peter Sellers'.
I like pretty much anything, except for maybe westerns - I'm not really into them. My top movies in no particular order would be: Braveheart Lilo & Stich Matrix (just the original and possibly Reloaded, I didn't like part 3 that much) Ransom Transformers (both the new and old 80's animated one Drunken Master (the remake a few years ago with Jackie Chan, not the original) Dances with Wolves The Bodyguard Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves Predator (the first one, I didn't really like Predator 2) Alien and Aliens (just the first two, didn't really like Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection) Every Star Trek movie except for Generations Mr. and Mrs. Smith Tomb Raider Willow Spaceballs Star Wars (all of them) Willow and Braveheart would be my top 2 picks above everything else though. As you can probably see, I'm a big fan of Mel Gibson and Kevin Costner
