What movie is better Avatar or Star Wars?

    Avatar isn't even in the league of Star Wars, yet. There is no comparing the two movies.
    Avatar = new release, decent flick, full of special effects
    Star Wars = cult-like following, much older, decent special effects.

    You just can't compare things like this this easily.

    I still prefer star wars than avatar..Star wars has better visual effects and storyline compared to avatar...although avatar's story is inspiring..star war's story is more thrilling..

    i am a star wars person but avatar is also good in terms of technology placed into it. star wars saga have always fascinated a lot of people including me. avatar is going to be as great as star wars if they make a sequel or have explanations to what is in the film.

    I personally thought that the special effects in Avatar looked a bit cartoony at times. I would have to go with Star Wars on this one because I feel that the only hyped aspect of Avatar failed.

    I think we can't compare avatar to starwars. Both great movie, but both have different theme. I like avatar better though

    I have never been a fan of star wars.For some reason,I never liked it.So,if you compare avatar and star wars,It has to be Avatar for me.

    I thought Avatar was really just OK. Nothing to write home about. I felt that the creators were pushing a big agenda on me the whole time. I'll always be a star wars kid, not the kind that goes viral though!

    Star wars was pretty damn good. I hear their going to make a three part add on now. version 7 -9!

    But yes, avatar was pretty sweet!

    Avatar is really awesome. It is totally different from other 3D movies. It shows war, love, action, drama. Everything i liked in this movie.
