    As far as I can see it lists only one post on homepage and has a list of latest posts in the right hand sidebar. I can make the necessary modifications to have a blog just like that. Send me a PM if you need my help.

    I don't see anything special there. A one page blog with a header image, set to display 1 post only. (settings -> reading-> set number of posts to display on main page to "1") and links to additional posts on the side bar.

    It can also be displaying a static page, or like others said, only 1 post per page. There are no mods used to display a blog like that. Just play around and you can make it whatever you want it to be.
