what may be the problem

i believe my server may have been offline for about 30 minutes

it came back up, all other sites on the server work except 2, well to me they dont work but for my friends they load up perfectly, the same for people in other countries

i have tried using firefox and IE, im on windows xp, i have restarted my computer and my internet multiple times

I can access the sites via ftp just not through a browser

any ideas?

 

odd dns caching?

try ipconfig /renew at your command prompt.

 

Another possibility is that HTTP port 80 is block (temporary or permanent), you can find out using nmap command.

 

do you get a 404 error or what?

 

Try from a different computer near you maybe a laptop.
