Hi, I would like to know what matters most in Bing search? Earlier quite some time back Live search would rank pages on the basis of On-page optimization irrelavant of backlinks: 1. Keyword Domain Name (I think this was major factor in live search) 2. Keyword density 3. Internal linking Did anyone got any research on what basis the page ranks in Bing search?
I think all of them are important in bing. Other than these things it is important that your on site seo is done properly. keyword domain name / age of domain is important in Bing. regards, ASHISH THAKKAR
Basics remain the same, be it any search engine. You just need to use them according to particular search engine's mood.
Yes, submitting the site in Bing / Live webmaster tool here bing.com/webmaster will give a bit idea about the site crawl but it will take long time to show up the results. I submitted my site and for couple of month it showed me only my site index / root page was indexed and after long time I can able to see most of the pages got indexed and not all.
From what I have observed the page title is extremely important! Other than that it seems to be similar to all the other search engines... including the big G.
