Hey there again! I'd like to discuss this question and ask about your opinion and experience. Which marketing channels (social media, email, SEO, etc) have been most effective in driving traffic and sales for your online store? I recently posted a thread here asking which platform for starting an online store I should choose and based on the answers I started 2 trials - on Sellvia and Woo. So now I wanna start somehow promote my Sellvia store but I wanna ask which channel has been the most effective for YOU? Any tips on promoting? Advices?
For most businesses, social media has been a game changer, it's like having a casual chat with potential customers. Also, don’t sleep on SEO, it’s more of a slow burn but pays off in the long run.
I've found that a mix of channels works best, but social media is the clear winner for me. Instagram and Facebook have been fantastic for sharing engaging visuals and behind-the-scenes content that seem to really capture attention. I’ve also had great success with TikTok—short, creative videos drove traffic and added a fun element that resonates with a younger crowd. Email marketing also worked well for me; sending personalized newsletters with exclusive offers and new arrivals. And while SEO is a slower burn, optimizing your product pages and writing actually valuable blog posts gradually boosts your organic traffic. One unexpected strategy that really paid off was using QR codes for marketing. I started printing QR codes on flyers and business cards, linking them directly to my store, sharing coupons this way... It’s a simple but effective way to bridge the gap between the physical and digital world; anyone who spots your material can easily visit your site. (Just remember to test your QR codes first to avoid any mishaps.) Playing around and experimenting with these strategies has really helped drive traffic and increase sales for my store.
Depends on what kind of stuff you're selling. I have Sellvia store too, and for me the most effective and fast channel was Tiktok. Thanks to great visuals and real video-like ads the engagement goes high up. Also Insta and FB have been nice
I saw that on Sellvia there are many different tools and services for marketing, maybe you should just use it? I don't know many stuff about WooCommerce, but maybe there's something similar too? You can also ask Sellvia customer service or write in Sellvia community to find answers, the same goes for Woo. I guess support teams and other people will gladly help you with this question! But in my opinion the best way to drive sales to any store, whether it's WooCommerce, Amazon, Sellvia or anything else, is to combine social media and emails. It worked for me
Hey! Great to hear you’re starting your Sellvia store! From my experience, Facebook & Instagram Ads work well for quick sales, especially with eye-catching creatives and targeted audiences. SEO takes time but brings in long-term organic traffic. TikTok & Influencer Marketing can drive viral engagement if your product is trending. Also, don’t forget email marketing for retargeting visitors and abandoned carts. My tip—test different channels, track results, and double down on what works best for your niche. Good luck!

It depends a lot more on what you are selling and what your target audience is. Until you define them, it will be very difficult to set goals, and without goals you won't know what works and what is just a waste of time. A lot of people have written about social media, that's certainly true, but I would advise you to start by narrowing down which customers you want to attract so it's much easier. The second thing is do something all the time. This is action for the sake of action and as soon as a method starts working for you, then put all the resources into it. It is worth realizing that there is no one-size-fits-all method that would work for everyone. And social networks, email marketing, etc. is a base that should be in any case. Otherwise you will not know if it works for you. Good luck in your business
I recommend Instagram and TikTok. It would be great to invest in influencer marketing, as this brings a more engaged audience. The key is to check page activity, not just follower count.
Social Media Marketing: Platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok offer targeted advertising and organic reach, allowing businesses to connect with a large audience. Influencer marketing and shoppable posts can drive direct sales.

Cool that you’re testing both platforms! For traffic, Facebook Ads + retargeting worked best for me, while SEO provides stable long-term results. If you're using Sellvia, you might want to try TikTok Ads – there’s a lot of hot traffic for e-commerce there right now.
Hi) You can also use native advertising to increase website traffic and boost sales. These are not free platforms, but they are quite effective. I recommend MGID – a truly working platform.
On Sellvia there are many different tools and services for marketing and promotion, you should just find that section on Sellvia dashboard and buy the ones you need. For me the best social media that really lead traffic are Insta, FB and Tiktok (especially last one)
I'd say go all in on a mix of paid ads (Instagram and Facebook are gold for this), SEO, and email marketing. First off, hit the ground running with Instagram Shopping and Facebook Dynamic Product Ads. These will help you target the right people and get those conversions rolling. At the same time, tweak your website with some solid keywords so you can start pulling in that sweet organic traffic. Don't sleep on building your email list either. Set up automated flows like cart abandonment reminders and post-purchase upsells to keep the sales coming. Oh, and for some brand buzz, hop onto TikTok with fun, shareable content and team up with influencers, especially if your crowd’s on the younger side. Start small with one or two channels, see what clicks, and then scale from there. You got this!
Yeah, I’ve used MGID before — it definitely brought solid traffic. The setup was pretty straightforward, and the support team was helpful. If your creatives are strong and the targeting is on point, it can work really well.
