I only bookmark websites which have tricky names. I remember by heart the websites which I need. I believe the right answer for 'why are you coming back to the website' is I do it because of I find the information valuable. It's different for everyone: students, plumbers, firemen, businessmen, etc.
For me to come back to a site it has to be either entertaining, something I need or creates an interest for me. If there are too many ads I don't come back. The site also should get to the point and get me the information I need without having to search for it. Updating daily for me is not a big deal, as long as something new is there a few times a week I'm okay.
depends on the niche, but over all its content or something unique and it has to be something useful although not always (such as humor)
It's the content. If you post quality content and regularly update it with interesting topics...most of the visitors will come back. Also, if you interact with your visitors through comments,etc..it'll make them visit your site often.
You have to provide content and regularly update it. You have to have a good website design. You need to create the reason to come back to Your site.
Definitely the fresh contents. And the few things that it can do to me just like "learning". DP as an example, every single minute new contents are form/generated here and every time I stay on this forum and read some information I get to know new things, and that what makes me come back.
