What makes Squidoo the best?

Writing an article and looking for some input.

 

Squidoo provides great content.

 

I don't like Squidoo so I really don't know the answer to that question. Anyway I've never searched Google and ended up on a Squidoo page so they suck in SERPs.

 

Squidoo is brilliant. My experience has been that Squidoo lenses with original content do great in search results.

Not surprisingly the guy heavily promoting squidoo has a lot of links based on, yep, squidoo creatiion

The truth of the matter is, blogspot, wordpress and squidoo all give similar benefits and drawbacks. They all have exposure from their publisher can be free, are easy enough to update and so forth. But the fact remains that in the end they will always be gimped compared to properly hosted domains, which on a similar product will always rise above if targetted properly.

My advice would be to start with blogger or wordpress free hosted if you are jsut starting out, that way you can find out if your writing and sales copy is good enough to warrant an investment early on!

ive had some good experience with squidoo, its EXTREMELY easy to setup a squidoo page and it can easily get listed on google. my squidoo page was listed after only 20 people had seen it. you cna also earn money of your squidoo page.

if your writing an article, why not try set a page up yourself? you could do a simple one in literally 5minutes.

 

Lens creation is unique that I like.

 

The original post was asking about Squidoo. It works for me and it's free!

 

It is a great tool or at least it was the effects do not appear to be the same as they used to be but then that is just my experience.

Worth a try though it is free after all.

Thar's a very helpful blog post and an excellent example of what can be achieved with Squidoo.

 

Why promote Squidoo when you can market your own website?

 

Marketing on Squidoo in addition let's you reach a wider audience.

 

But the point I was trying to make was, for effective squidoo marketing, you need to get links to the lens pages no? Why waste effort in doing this if you could just get links to your own website?

 

You just add content, lenroll, be a fan, and have others do the same, it will rank by itself.

 

Are you guys on Crack??? I think you guys should stop smoking that crap because its rotting your brain.... There are sites way better than Squidoo even when it comes to free advertising.

 

Name some.
