I saw this program last night on the stages of pregnancy.

After fertilization its a bunch of cells, then biologically, its like a fish, with the ears effectively being gills. Then it becomes more lizard like with the tail and protusions which arn't yet arms or legs. Later on it changes from an embryo to a fetus.

I'm not entirely sure of Bush's position on murdering babies. But if it is, you guys have quite a lot in common ;)

yes, there are. It is medically established fact that human life begins at contraception. That is when the DNA combine to form a unique human life. Planned parenthood even has this in a number of their own documents.

Many people who get abortions know that they are killing their baby. It is not new information for them. Many abortionists out-right say that they are terminating human life.

To those who voted birth ... you can't be serious. Have you ever seen an ultrasound? So if a baby is overdue, and a woman is 9.5 months pregnant, the baby is still not human until born?

how about the ownership of that's baby's life. Don't you think the Mother has the right to do anything before Child is born since it is still a part of her body?

I really don't look at it as an ownership.

So if we're purely taking this down to a biological level, the since a monkey is 98% human shouldn't we be giving them 98% of our human rights?

Maybe we should let them vote and pay taxes, but we can withold their library cards?

What's to get, if you're saying that something is human purely on a biological basis, then surely you also have to conclude that a monkey is 98% of a human? Or is there more to it than that?

Who said you have to be baptized to be human ? ( if thats what you mean ) besides infant baptism is something the Catholic church made up, it's not a bible teaching, rather a man made teaching.

I thought human civilization had mostly moved beyond the concept of owning another person. If that person is my employee (a part of my business and financial livelihood), should I be able to own them too? If they want to quit and take company secrets to another company, which will cause much more severe damage to me than having a baby and giving it up for adoption, can I abort that person?
