What makes it go viral?

Could I get some of the elements as to how some content goes viral? Like YouTube videos or Twitter itself?

Viral means that something is like a virus, it spreads across the internet "infecting everyone." Make it funny, useful, original, exciting, addicting, etc.. Advertise it, keep people coming, and get people to spread it to there friends who spread it more, those are some simple ways to go "viral."

write about something contoversional. this tends to get discussion on, and alot of trackbacks.

 

Very Shocking, Very Funny , Very Helpful , Very Unique; which also makes it very hard to do.

 

First of all, it should something out of the ordinary that people like. Else, it would gather interest but wouldn't have enough steam to keep the interest going.
