Hello Guys, We are developing a new affiliate program for our website http://www.lindseyinteractive.com, we are an interactive marketing company. We want to know what the general public feels is a "GOOD" affiliate program and what they look forward in an affiliate program, we will be looking to implement these features in our new affiliate program.
We are building an affiliate program, we are wanting to get feedback on what people consider a "Good" affiliate program. What they look for? What makes them bettter?, etc
If it's a pps, ppl or ppa network, I'd say: 1- The possibility for a small website to apply: low traffic is not damaging and a lot of small website could still generate some leads for you. 2- Low payouts on paypal, it would encourage webmasters to promote your campaigns. 3- Some useful tools, like some geomatic ad rotator... I know just few ad networks who use this, like Crakrevenue. The webmaster just put the code chosing the format (300x250, 728x90 etc) and on the website will appear the best converting campaign according to the traffic's geo IP location.
Thanks everyone so far for the feedback, we are wanting to get the feedback from everyone to make a better program.
The best affiliate programs are the ones that are designed so ANYONE can make money with. I am talking about beginners to experts. Providing a comprehensive list of marketing materials such as banners, ad text, splash pages, etc. Also provide training so anyone can learn how to make money promoting your products or services. Lastly, make sure your paying your affiliates a fair amount making it worth their time in promoting.
We actually have a brand new affiliate program we just launched - http://www.lindseyinteractive.com/our-company/affiliate-program/ I think many people will get great benefits from it.
Here is my view: 1. good quality products and easy to convert 2. friendly affiliate manager 3. provide complete affiliates tools 4. on time payment
Mobile friendly advertiser websites and payment process for customers Nice overview at login with the highest conversion rates On time payments
The best affiliate programs should be from companies that try to promote their own product, not just affiliates. That means they have faith in their product. The product should be tried out by the affiliate marketer. If it works for him or her, then she can recommend it. Good business info here.
The most easier affiliate program is via referrer traffic to customers' site.... Anyone who has a online shop that sells something(eg: clothes; shoes; etc...) needs traffic.... NO TRAFFIC = NO SALES!
1) Honesty. 2) Not banning affiliates for no reason and keeping their accrued commissions. 3) Paying via PayPal or by check, whichever the affiliate prefers. 4) Paying on a timely basis. Not making people wait 30 or 60 days beyond the close of the period. 5) Low payment thresholds. Requiring a minimum payment of threshold of $100 or higher can take a long time to reach for smaller webmasters.
