What differentiates a good blog post from a bad one? What types of characteristics does a good post have that a bad one doesn't? I have my opinions, but wanted the thoughts of a few others. I would say: A good blog post provides quality content to the reader that is useful and they can apply to the niche they are in. A possible video or explanation is included in the posting explaining the writers reasoning behind the topic that is being discussed. The post also has good grammar and punctuation. It comes across professional. Although I am quite new to IM, it would great to get some opinions on this subject. Im here to learn Thanks, Chris Kyle
If the post doesn't have depth, please at least be engaging. If the post has depth and I'm learning a lot from it, go ahead and bore the hell out of me because I don't mind. Ryan Deiss's posts are the epitome of engaging quality posts. Just my 2 cents.
Good article is something that you can offer knowledge or new learnings to your readers, regardless of the number of words it has, but sometimes number of words determine how efficiently or how did you elaborate your ideas.
Two words: Educate and Entertain. If you can do both of these things in your blog, you will be successful.
