That is perfect. I own a Sony VAIO VGN-FE670G and I am pretty happy with it and can definitely recommend it. If you dont like SONY or find it a little expensive go for IBM T Series. They are the best in the market. I didnt go for them cause they dont offer wide screens.
hard to belive if you give any good example. my last 2 notebooks are acers, the first is 6 years old and still runs without problems. had some great IBM (486,60MHz) and compaq (P90) before, but i think acer offers the bet value for the money, while ibm has a lot of nice extras like a keyboard light (every notebook should come with this feature, its just a $1 part!), harddisk protection and so on. i have have seen a lot people with other cheap notebooks sending them in twice or more each year for repairs ("gericom") and get them back in the same condition.
I got two Toshiba Satellites and both are broke. Backlight out in one, and the other one got funky and won't reformat (the "Wrong Machine" error).
Wow... I can see both pros and cons for each brands. Think its quite hard to get a laptop that can last unless the laptop itself is very good and the owner must also take really good care of it.
Hi Deano, I do agree with you in getting things you paid for. I am just curious of any laptop brand that will be able to last at a reasonable price.
Sony VIO Series. Thats wat i am using. Or u could always get a Toshiba Satellite too. There are many but u need to get it according to wat u need it for and ur budget ofcourse.
I'd definatel go with Dell. I love 'em. Good service, good laptops, they're pretty much good at everything.
If you are rich or your company pays for it - Sony If you want a decent system worth for the money - Toshiba If you are and American - Dell If you want to save money and not to lose power - Acer If you are lover of HP / Company Servers - HP
Hi smartcard, thank you for the categorization. Just curious. Do you have any reasons for such a categorization?
