I am using a Compaq Presario F700 laptop, I bought it exactly one year and eight days ago and it works great
My vote for a laptop would go to the bullit proof Acer we have 3 of them 2x17inch and 1x15.4inch,very reliable and rugged and very reasonable price wise.
I am also using VAIO from last one year... Awesome sound and picture quality. Best value for money configuration..... Sony is Brand because of it's quality... I suggest this because i have never faced any problem with this http://forums.digitalpoint.com/poll.php?do=showresults&pollid=6078 I think you are the exception....
Thanks for the great suggestions everyone, when its time i think il look at Sony Vaio, Toshiba & ACER. Both my sisters have Acer's but i dont bother asking them as they just understand that they switch them on, use them, then switch them back off again. But yeah, some great suggestions, i wont rule out the other suggestions either.
I an a fan of Sony gadgets, my last laptop was Toshiba, now i am using Sony VAIO(CR)!Fully satisfied with it, dont need any other brands, even MACbook!
The best laptops for a cheaper price are those of ASUS or MSI. They might not be very famous for their laptops but I can tell you that if you want to buy an HP laptop with the specifications of ASUS W90Vp-A1 18.4" Notebook you won't even find one.
I'm currently using Dell XPS M1210 .. What I feel is the body is quite heavy and the battery will be too hot when I'm using it. Most of my friends using compact hp and I think its more lighter and handy. If I have extra money I'll switch to hp someday. In terms of spec, it depends on our selection so basically which brand I like better? Definitely compact because - the lighter one .
Dell XPS M1730 is a very fast and high performance laptop. I want to have one in the future. I don't have a laptop. I am using a custom built desktop PC.
I've got an Acer netbook, perfect for what I need. Really couldn't imagine my life without it which is kind of sad...
i have a dell and its an amazing computer...i feel like having a supercomputer with me..you get a good values for your money...
