Eve disobeyed God when she ate an apple from a forbidden tree in the heaven. But Adam was punished for no fault of his :p

I want to know which language did they speak? They were sent to earth as punishment. But they had a developed brain, and could recognize snakes and apples. I wonder what language it was...

    Hebrew
    Arabic
    Mandarin
    Latino
    Greek
    Africaan

Languages developed over 1000's of years.

OK. Maybe Eve ate it and gave it to Adam later, I am not sure though.

But what language did they speak? Humans have evolved slowly, continuously gaining knowledge, which could be passed on. From hunter/gatherer to farming, from nomadic life to settlement. It took thousands of years.

Adam and Eve don't fit in. There must be some explaination.

We must look beyond theology for knowledge...

We don't know. We know that it was after the Tower of Babel that the multiplication of languages occurred.

Adam is Hebrew for Earth, and Eve means life. Every written word attributed to these characters was originally written in Hebrew, although they have now been referenced in every language on Earth. So in a way, these mythical characters speak all languages.

The story to which you refer is, in all likelihood, a metaphorical retelling of the founding of civilization. Many modern believers misunderstand this and take it literally, but the signs are all over the story that Adam and Eve represent the first human tribes to use "knowledge of good and evil" to free themselves from Nature's capricious change of fortune. Specifically, it is a folk tale about the agricultural revolution and the transition from nomadic patterns to settlements. That is what it means to be "banished from the Garden" and why it says that humans were thereafter condemned to earn their bread "by the sweat of your brow." As nomads, food need simply be found. As farmers, it must be cared for all season.

As such, these tribes spoke none of the languages you have listed...but it was probably related to Sumerian, Akkadian, Ancient Hebrew, and other languages of the Middle East. The language which gave rise to modern tongues is unknown, since no remnant of it remains, but historical linguists hypothesize a language known as Indo-European to account for similarities between seemingly unrelated languages.

It does not matter , languages are for understanding each other and we can say that they could understand each other.

yes exactly... it doesnt realy matters that which language adam or eve had used for speaking.. but the thing that matters is the message behind the story..
message will remains the same no matter what language we are using... meanings will always be same so i think language doesnt matters at all.

Since it was originally a Sumerian story about Gilgamesh and Inanna I would assume they spoke Sumerian.
