    well social network because it's more personal
    some things on forum just is not the same on social networks

    My choice goes to forum. There is more interaction in forum and also it is more sticky if you have a large base of members.

    I think social networking sites are more popular now. The sites like face book, Twitter, dig, delicious etc brings a lot of traffic to your site.

    Of the three, social networking is undoubtedly the more popular. It seems like everyone (including their grandmothers!) has a Facebook account lying somewhere around. Also, sites like Twitter have recently been receiving a lot of exposure through mass media and have subsequently suddenly become more mainstream. I have yet to see this happen, especially not at levels such as these, for blogs or forums.
