what kinda link do i need for my website?

i am a website newbie who just owned few websites.

i was just wondering what kinda links do i need for www.scrabblecash.com and www.euploder.org ?

or would linking in help brining in traffic?

you need links to your site that are targeted to your keywords that you want to rank for in the search engines.

 

the targeted keywords making and anchor text ... links from other related site that may help to gain backlinks/inboundlinks...

If you can get links in content of websites...that will great

 

1) Yes, it will bring in traffic either directly or indirectly. (Directly = someone will actually click on the link, indirectly = it will help your PR and you will rank higher in Google SERPS).

2) What most of the people here said was great advice. Attempt to get links from content-related websites and linkbuild. Another good idea is to submit to directories which are listed in the link development sticky thread at the top of this forum. I have to also agree with Hanleo45: if you can write articles and submit them to areas where there is related content, all the better: targeted traffic AND linkbuilding.
