What kind of websites do u accept in your directory?

I have a directory, webdirecory.co.il
and i don't know if to accept: Warez, Adult/porn, and other directories.

What do u suggest?

also, i would like to know in which way you promote a directory:
link exchange?
link sale (one way) ?
submissions to other directories?
submissions to a directory of directories only?
pay per click advertising?
blog writing about your directory?
article writing and submission to article directories?

also, this is Israeli domain, and thus it will be good idea to offer hebrew texts with the links. would u suggest to make a sub domain for Hebrew directory? something like: he.webdirectory.co.il?
because i want it to be primarily in English to be competitive with larger directories out there right now, to make it like the best Israeli directory!
so... if you were me with a good domain like webdirectory.co.il what would u do?

i already started with forums advertisment about the directory and offer free submissions. in which way to go now?

Absolutely i accept other directories.

I claim to have family friendly directories so i wont list porn.
Warez would probably lead to prosecution if i was daft enough to list it.
Gambling sites aint worth the gamble with the payment processors.

 

For a general directory, Adult/Porn is a big No No (My opinion)

I wouldn't class it at warez, because a hack can just be a modification for something, theres plenty of books out their with "Hacks for ebay" "Hacks for XP" "Hacks for excell" when you read them they are in fact tips and tricks for the product.

But if the site shares cracked software, its warez, but regarding rapidshare, megaupload, i dont know, as theres probably a loophole as people can say its not actually on their servers.

Some people frown upon sites that dont have, but link to what is seen as illegal.

u might try putting the adult sites in their own category and clearly state it's content
