what kind of website?

i was thinking about starting a website. what kind of websites are making the money now? i used to make money off proxys, but i never made much from that

 

WEll the kind that has traffic

Music & Movies websites generate high traffic, which is money.

 

i agree with them you should research a niche that you can use for a site that will bring you money... plus that website should have quality content to be easily index by different search engine...

 

The scope of making money from a website is so broad that it's hard to single out a factor that will contribute to its success, but the advices given above should give you a head start. May I also add high paying keywords and CPC as a factor?

Proxy's are short lived and is basically not a good business model, but you could make an autoblog or affiliate site.

and earn money through that.

im having trouble thinking of a niche. i was thinking maybe making a torrent search engine. but i am not sure.

 

Find a niche that you are knowledgable about that is not yet saturated. Do some keyword research to uncover an area.

 

Well A torrent search engine might get good traffic, but as far as profits goes. I'm not quite sure it will be anything in context to the traffic you recieve.

You could start a blog in the iguanna niche(just an idea) I think it shouldn't be that hard to find some decent keywords in that niche.

Anyways I would say start a blog or membership site or the like. The sites you are used to be thinking of when you think about sites to create isn't that profitable anymore.

 

Ones that require hard work and talent, not crappy sites that are churned out by the handful.
