How successful is everyone with content search? Also, if the ad had NO Search, what kind of traffic have you used then? Just wondering.:)

I'm a PPC only kind of guy. Although a couple years ago, I made some videos for youtube and such with a 'visit my website' type thing at the end of the video. I made about $1500 on that, but I like PPC better.

Both from research and personal experience, I find that content search traffic converts much lower than search network traffic, so I generally turn "content" off in Adwords.

If the offer is "no search", the alternative I prefer is article marketing. Although SEO generally is a long term thing, if one of my existing sites fits well with an offer, I have been creating landing pages there, in hopes of converting the existing traffic, or else getting indexed relatively quickly for longer tail search terms.

Since I only have been back to promoting Azoog for about 3 days, the above is mostly theoretical at this point (but I have a few sales so far :) ), but conceptually applies to overall marketing strategy with any aff or CPA program for me anyway.

Mainly on search network, but i do get content traffic too for some market, but there's always a debate about content traffic, it works but constant tweaking on excluding bad domain is needed.

Sorry, I sorta missed the search vs content nature of the question. I'm 100% search on about $1800/mo spend.

Content Search is very profitable, you just have to be hitting the right offer.

I am mainly search. I have done some content stuff with some success. I am working on that campaign mainly because it makes me the most money and i am targeting it in the content.

I tend to stay away from content but I have had some success with very tight niches. It seems to come and go though so I have it turned off right now.

Email, not "newletter marketing" but real email marketing is what you can (and I do with networks that do not allow search traffic on certain offers.)
