I would like to know the following, the site i am working on has a dynamic part that is going to be changed daily. These are all internal links to other pages and would be descriptions of the content of the page the link links to and i want to see this on a certain amount of pages so things are at hand for the visitor. This kind of comfort for the visitor delivers a problem for me right now because i don't know how to get this done if this is even possible. Let's say you have 20 links on a home page and every single day these links will change because every day when the day ends the links are being removed and replaced with links to newly added pages to the site. The old links will go to an archive and these would link the pages that hold the content for the description link. And this will be as of then static content. But i would like to ad new links to the homepage but i also want to ad these links to other pages, so what is the problem? I would have to manually place the links of the homepage on every page that i would like to see containing these links. As you can see this is very REDUNDANT - is there an other solution for this kind of problem that would make things a lot easier? Because of right now i am clueless
It sounds as if you need to get acquainted with content management systems. What you want to do, if I understand it correctly, is very simple with any decent CMS. Recommend you try Drupal or Mambo (now known as Joomla). Both free as beer and easy to use. If, for whatever reason, these CMS apps don't meet your needs, then learn some PHP and you can do pretty much anything
