What kind of software do people use these days?

    Hi,

    What kind of (online) software do people use nowadays?

    I'm planning to create a bookmark application and other software but i'm not sure if there are people that use that. Don't want to waste my time coding stuff no one uses =)

    So, what kind of software do you want to use? :D

    I don't actually use any especially remotely hosted software. I have used it now and again in the past, but don't see much use for it anymore.

    joomla
    wordpress
    minigal
    IPB forum
    phpbb forum
    arp3 plus

    also,
    for editing pages: cuteHTML
    for ftp: ws ftp pro

    I use most of the stuff on this list
    replace joomla with subdreamer
    replace IPB with vBullentin
    replace PHPbb with SMF
    ...

    I was wondering what kind of software people would like to use so that i can code the application but i guess posting what you use is also good :p
