what kind of SEO will i do to stay on top?

    i just want to ask what kinds of SEO will i do to my site to stay on top.?please help it just thrills me to see my site at No.1 on google.

    • Continue to secure quality links into your website.
    • Read and reread your content with a view to improving it. Update it to make better use of keywords.
    • Review your title(s) with a good tool such as Digital Point's "Keyword Suggestion" tool. Change title(s) if you find relevant keywords that receive more searches. (Of course, do not change your URL, or you will start all over!).
    • Examine your internal link structure within your site. Is it funneling PageRank to the page(s) your want to prioritize? Or is it just random?

    Jim4767 really has good info for you here:
    - building links is the basic thing you need to get (and keep) going.
    - researching keywords and getting those included in links to your site, title-tags (where they fit), internal links (where they fit) etc.
    - the pages that you think ought to rank well, and target keywords that are popular (or would make you money) should get as many internal links (preferably from pages with external links) as you can manage. Once they rank, they will start getting external links without you even trying and then you can funnel their link strength to other internal pages to get them up in the serps.

    Personally I review this sort of thing every few months.
