What kind of SCAM emails did you receive?

This is the message I got today

891,934.000GBP has been awarded to you

 

I get those atleast twice a week.

Sometimes I receive phishing emails for banks, paypal accounts and what not.

 

what providers are you with? I rarely see any spam nowadays... no pills.. no nigeria.. no phishing..

 

I am not aware of the subjects of any scam emails coming to me these days... as I instantly delete all emails that come from strangers, even without reading the topic!

The "male-enhancement" pills have stopped coming, thankfully.

Now I just get the odd World of Warcraft phishing scam 2 or 3 times a week, even though I haven't had an account for years.

 

It's normal.....I think you can Create a Filter

 

Everytime I post on craigslist now I have to get at least a few spam emails.

 

I receive 3-5 nigerian scams daily.. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

 

I usually get male health and penis enlargement related emails. They have subjects like 'Exclusively for newbie191', 'become tarzan in your bed', buy phyzer viagra now' etc etc.
Thanks to gmail there filters are good. lol

A girl, 24 years old, emailed me saying her life is in danger, and she has been running away from Mafias who killed her father 1 year ago. Now she is left with big amount of money around 20 million. She was looking for someone who is not from US or Europe. She found me. She is glad. She said she got my email from some social or chat sites. She is asking for help. Damn damn.., and she says if I help her, she is willing to go together some place like Brazil or something... G...

 

Receive mails like, you have awarded 1000 000$ in lottery. I dont open them

 

I'm thinking there is a giant pole in 'spam world' just dedicated to hanging my email address off...

I get about 15 junk mails everyday.

 

It was something like this: "Know How to Make A Million from $1000"! Complete scam!

 

Same here, I will nearly dozen mails like this every month.
