What kind of penalty do I have?

My site http://www.just911cars.com seems to have a penalty but I have no idea why. I dont even rank for the name of my site. "just911cars"

    http://www.google.com/#hl=en&q=just911cars

I have tried to contact google about it in webmaster tools but they dont reply.

The weird thing is, there has just been a PR update and my site has now gone from PR3 - PR4.

So if I have a penalty then why do I have a PR increase and what can I do to sort it out?

Thanks in advance for your time

    Try this search http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en#hl=en&q=just911cars.com&aq=f&oq=&aqi=&fp=2Inaafc1UxE

Not only are you not penalized google views your site as important and has given you sitelinks. Congratz. Looks like you updated your webiste May 10 2009. It's probably more of a temporary sandbox type effect where you won't rank for terms you are newly optimizing for. If you really want to rank for that phrase get more backlinks with that anchor text..even though your website is that name you don't automatically rank well for it (it helps a lot of course). An example if my site GameFriends.com . Searching Game Friends doesn't give my site as the 1st result (yet) but overtime your site should rank for this phrase and whatever else you have optimized for (Onpage and Offpage).

To reiterate: you have sitelinks..you are in the Google index...you are not punished. It is most likely a temporary sandbox effect of keywords due to page changing on May 10 2009. Hope that helps you.

I have had sitelinks for over 2 years, my site used to be ranked first for good keywords such as "used porsche 911" and had lots of traffic until March, the site changes done in the last few weeks were to make sure my domain name appeared in the title tag and on the page. So there was no excuse other than a penalty as to why I was not showing for my non competative business name without the .com bit on the end.

Something is really wrong, my site has over 500 backlinks in Yahoo showing.

Any other ideas, There is no way waiting is going to change anything, I waited 3 months so far!

I'm no expert but I think that the navigation located in the footer of your site could be the issue. The use of porsche 911 in every link could be considered as keyword stuffing by the google bot.You also might want to check this video which explains the whole issue in detail:

I have disagree with this, as this is done on many sites without a problem including my main site justgoodcars.com

I think you can be penalized and indexed at the same time but relegated to lower ranks, as i sthe case now.

Your last sentance was not clear to me, but I did state above that I know it appears with .com on the end but I want to show for my no competitive keyword just911cars and noboday has an answer as to how this is possible with my current situation.

I was on the google forum a few weeks back and they have no idea, but just feed me nonsense. It is very damaging to my business and google is offering a bad service as a result.

Same thing happened to my Veyron site www.justveyroncars.com typing "used bugatti veyron" in google now takes you to a bunch of crap sites instead of my site that ha over 20 Veyrons for sale, the largest selection in the world. Google sucks right now! Here is a real life example of something that was googd for the public and how it was taken away.

Your post does not state that very clear, but if you changed your title various times until you found the right one, it is quite normal.
If you changed the title just once, it seems 3 month is a long time but still possible.

Don't change your title with more frequency than 2 times per year, this always causes SERP changes that makes your site disappear temporary for certain key words.

Gazzerman, I see you on used bugati in 2nd!!

Site wise you need to get some links deeper into the site.

All of your links are going to the homepage.

You will want to check you interlinking as well this maybe a factor.

    AHA

Just ran a large search string unioque to one of your pages.

    The string was

"As one of 34 Porsche Centres in the UK and Ireland, Porsche Centre Bristol is located just off the M5 and has a proud heritage of being a Porsche Centre for more than 28 years"

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?sour...eing+a+Porsche+Centre+for+more+than+28+years+

It seems that google is listing you as a https not http have you changes this recently?

It is fairly comon for sites toi experiance issues when changing the initial aspect of the url. Google often slaps a dup penalty on the site as a result.

Drop me a pm and we can have a chat on the hpone if you want
