I built most social bookmarks, then forum posts. I don't do many blog commenting and directory submission. So I do mostly high PR social bookmarks. Is this good? How you do it?
I build links thru blogging, forums, and social bookmarking. I also acquire backlinks from article submission sites.
I think the best bet is to do all kinds of linking. I think you want a good mix and not focus on just 1 or 2 kind. You never know what changes there could be in the future that could affect your links. Just an idea.
The first thing that I do is directory submission, article submission, blog commenting and forum posting.
A good backlink method I've found is to search for .edu blogs that are dofollow. Just type this into google "site:.edu inurl:blog comment -login" and you will find tons of .edu blogs that allow you to comment without having to register for an account. You can add whatever subjects/topics you want to that search after the "-login" portion in order to narrow your search. As you know, .edu and .gov backlinks are regarding a lot higher by google than .com's, .net's, etc. I would also register for an account over at the www.business.gov forum. They allow anchor text in their posts and signatures. You'll have to make these links relevant obviously as the site is highly moderated and a PR9. Also, I use the Firefox browser to do this because of the great addons you can download to help you find the stats on each site like whether or not they're dofollow, their pagerank, etc.
Well, I try to have a good mix of different kinds of links, but I suppose the ones I make most of is blog comments on do follow blogs.
I use all mix of things for link building which includes, directory submission, bookmarking, article, press release, blog commenting, forum posting, guest blogging so that I got various types of backlinks which looks very natural also. @dminorfmajor Thank you for sharing a little trick you are using. I will try that for me.
I am doing link building for my website article and bookmarking with PR page, cause for PR page cashing speed is fast that why i am used.
do link exchange with other members on this forum. I've done lots of seo and this has worked the best. Optimize your link exchanges for each page. Ie. for each pr 1 page do like 10 link exchanges for each page. Get rid of unnecessary outbound links on your sites.
In this order: Directory Submissions, Forum Posting, Blog Commenting, Social bookmarking, Social networking, hubpages, press release (1 a week), then back to beginning. Rinse, Repeat. Once you exhaust the free directories, just upkeep for those.
Try to build link on different types of website like directory, social bookmarking, article and blogs, because it help you to build backlinks from world wide web. Google and other search engine also follow such type of links.
