I'm trying to start a news site and am having difficulties finding a template to my liking. I'm relatively new to building a website and have heard of Joomla etc. but can not find an appropriate platform for creating articles in a manner that'll enhance the look of the site. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

First of all, I'd like to thank you for the prompt reply. I've gone through so many templates and spent countless hours on google that I'm almost going out of my box. For some reason, my browser is blocking that particular site from loading. Is it that much different from all the other sites that come up on google?
there is lot of template out there, but if you want to learn i suggest you start from scratch and begin using web editor like dreamweaver
I'm not really trying to learn, although I do want to understand what I'm doing. I'm looking for the easiest and cheapest route to getting started with my news website. Anybody who has a news site or any ideas or links to an attractive template to post news, advice from you would be much appreciated.
I have no idea how far my site is going to take me and am not ready at this point to shell out money to a web designer. There seems to be so many available free templates all over the net, but I can't find one that I think will look good for a news site.
I suggest you use WordPress as you CMS cause its really easy to work with... And you can search google for "WordPress News themes" Thanks
Thank you Sunny. It's a bit to expensive for what I'm looking for, although I very well may end up going with something like that. Those templates are definitely up my alley.
Dont click the site here, use the google search. by the way to use this kind of template you need to install dreamweaver. because of the CSS file.
