What Kind Of Forum?

I was thinking about starting a gamming forum for cs source along with my clan does anyone know where I could post my fourm for free and get traffic?

 

You could put a link in your signature on other gaming forums.

The best place to advertise a CS forum would probably be advertising in CS:S itself. It can get a little expensive, but I would recommend getting a server and advertising there. You can always ask for donations from your members and give them higher levels of access. People do visit these sites, especially if the server/clan is active and gives incentive to participate in the community.

 

Join other gaming forums and pormote it there via signature links or create a thread about it

Promoting it in the game is a good idea for sure, and on other CS forums. Submit it to as many places as you can find, google will help you find places that will list your forum for free. Try to get in the top 10 on google for "CS Forum" and you should get some visitors.

 

http://www.linkreferral.com gives some free traffic to you. The only problem is that you need to spend about 10 minutes a day at the site.

 

You could always promote your gaming forum in the game. You could always put your forum in your name tag if the link isn't too long. Another way is to put your gaming forum tag in your signature.

 

You can ads your forum on google cs forums.

 

Always beleive in spending More time in relative forums. Pm people in the forum looking out for your kind of Stuff and you will find Sucess .

Running monthly competitions is a good idea too so lets say members have to pay $20 to participate and the first one in TOP 15 after 30 days will get 80 % of all the money (20 % can go for server maintenance)
