It is well known that "html" "music" are hot topic on internet. What else? what kind of content could have good traffic for a new website? ============================== JTable, JAVAscript
there is really nothing out there that's as hot as "html" and "music". so concentrate on those two. better yet build a site that evolves around both keywords. ...kidding. where did you learn that "html" "music" are hot topic on internet anyway?
Another point of view: If you build a site about a very popular topic, you will have many competitors, including the big boys, who will not likely give you a chance to have your share of the cake. Trying less competitive topics, building a quality content site on a very specific topic, and using less competitive keywords can lead you to a small cake which you can take a larger slice from. Again, this is just another point of view, that's all.
The large and popular terms have a lot of sites and money behind them, the secret - well it is no secret really - but a more stable way would be to target 100 lower volume terms and make them your own, this way losing 10 places in the serps will not wipe out your earnings if you are talking adsense, you will be more stable and less affected by large competitors. For fun I expanded this way of thinking with one site I forgot about, its a 4 year old domain that just received around 10 uniques a day and I haven't looked near it for ages, now its gets around 700 per day and a sweet $30 per day adsense with very little effort, just going after the niche/less popular a bit more and I have only scratched the surface of its potential with a lot more to be made through articles and advertising.
i agree with first response. I have so many different sites with different keywords they focus on and all of them make at leat a little bit of annual revenue. I would recommend finding a search term that is unique and doesn't get alot of searches and focus on it for an entire month. This is much better than jumping around to different ideas and never really finishing anything. best regards.
