I don't know exactly how to find expensive domain. You see ...
    • Appraisal cannot really tell will people buy the domains. I used to have a domain which was appraised $1000 by Sedo (I paid for appraisal fee). It was unsold & dropped.
    • Appraisal cannot tell how much people willing to pay for domains. I've seen many highly appraised domains sold cheap & lowly appraised domains (some are appraised 'reg fee') but sold at unreasonable high price.
    • People says domain which have numbers & hypen are not expensive but I see many has reached 4 digits & more (in USD).
    • People don't buy my domains but when it dropped, they grabbed it immediately.
    • Some say submit domains to as many domain marketplaces as possible. I did but nothing sold.
    • Marketplaces recommend to feature my domains. I did. Nothing sold.
    • Some say develop domains as running sites to increase its value. I did. Nothing sold. Cost & time incurred.
    • Some say hold onto domain longer so that it appreciate over time. But I could see some aged domains are sold at $10 or even lower.

Is domaining is not an ideal business? Is domain industry created so that some people can make money? But many make living on domain business ... . Where I did wrong? Could you help me?

Go back to the main question: why people buy domains & how much they willing to buy ...

    But I'm still learning & domaining ... :( ... because I believe ...
... although my credit cards hurt!

I only managed to sell one domain so far & giving away for free another ... proudly in DP BST section ... though I sold it below cost.

I still have two more domains on shelf. Those are the last two.
