What I've Learned So Far About Link Building

Ive been researching SEO almost every day for about 8 months --- I think Im finally no longer a "newbie"... but still have a TON to learn

Its amazing... you can learn something new everyday in SEO

When it comes to building links... here is what I think about link building so far ( and please give me feedback )

    1) Reciprocal Links = NO GOOD... they might work now, but Google can change its algorithm, and ban sites that have 100's+ of reciprocal links

    2) Do-Follow blogs.... from what I hear, these links are about as good as any... but Im still not sure about this

    3) Writing Articles / Press Releases on High PageRank websites === This seems to be the BEST way... however, I know almost all of these websites charge per link posted...... Isnt that considered a paid link?? Can it get you in trouble??

    Any feedback appreciated!!!

    Hi there,

It's true never think u know too much in SEO. There's always something new to learn.

    1) About Reciprocal Links. I try to avoid them as much as i can. 1 downside having too much of them on ur site ur risking of getting banned by google. Another thing which i fear the most is u can easily get scammed using them. It sounds all fair at first you put link to my website and i'll put one on my site to urs. Very simple isnt it. the catch is he/she never ad ur link! or better yet she/he add's it but wait for few 1 week or so then removes your link but ur still link to him/her. SCAMMED!

    2) Do-Follow blogs i am not so sure about this either

    3) Writing Articles / Press Releases - i have found this to be very effective and have always worked for me

    4) Another method you can use is Social Bookmarking sites. These sites r quickly indexed by Google and other search engines and they provide backlinks back to your site

    5) Using rich keyword content that search engine can pick up.

Paid links on directories are far better than reciprocal links, but I don't think reciprocal links are that harmful

The best links are from trusted sites, with lots of inbound links and little outbound links and the higher the PR the better.

    yup agreed

    I also ignore reciprocal links

    it's not good at all

plus you might lose visitors as well when they find something better than your site :(

    and articles are the best

I paid about 87 dollars to the article company which he is on this forum

offering 87 dollars and he will submit unique articles to over 4000 publishers

    it works really well

in just 2 days i already getting few sites that has linked to my site

and in the future as he promised

there will be 2000+ to 10,000+ potential backlinks to my site

that will bring my site on top of the SEO

    wow

    lovin it
    $$$$$$$$$

having 100s of recips is definitely bad. having some on-topic, relevant recips is good in my book.

its also advised to get relevant blog posts and blog roll links in your niche...

1 PR link is far better than 100 non indexed links...
