what its more important ? PR or trafic?

dear all as a newbie here and also adsense beginer i would ask you which one important PR or traffic? cos my traffic its so low at 2 month site launch. need you all sugestion

Personally I think they're of equal importance. If you have a mid-range PR (4-6) it usually means that you have a steady stream of traffic coming in from inbound links. But your site doesn't necessarily have to have a high PR to attract traffic - you could be getting 80% of your traffic from one link.

I dont understand why people care about PR so much. It's just a number given by 1 major search engine and everyone goes nuts. Traffic leads to members, to potential customers, increased earnings, and viral marketing. Pr does not.

 

Traffic is more important for sites ,If your site will get good traffic , other sites will link to your site automatically and you will get PR

 

Traffic is what matters.. If you're getting a lot of traffic, you should not need to care about PR..
Usually however, traffic comes with PR, at least traffic from Google..

 

i would say traffic too, especially with adsense or YPN, u need more visitors to click ads to make more revenue, PR wont give you anything here, you can use PR to manually sell links

 

its easier to get backlinks with a higher pr

 

do you have blog ? or any service portal if its portal you make more back link to get good PR and traffic , if you are doing work with blog then you have to daily post there to reach at good SERP in google .

 

PR if you intend to sell links etc ...

else it is all about traffic.

 

I like having a balance of both. The balance gives me clicks on adsense and the high PR allows me to sell links for more.

 

I think, traffic more important...but to get a lot of traffic you need high PR.

 

You don't need a high PR to get a lot of traffic.

 

It depends on your site and your business, if you want to earn from adsense or ypn then traffic is more important, or if you want to earn from selling links then PR is more imp.

 

Traffic is more important. Once you get more traffic, your page rank will raise as well.

 

If you want to sell link space on your site, you must work on increasing your PR but if you want to help your site to be more popular you need to work on promoting your site to increase traffic.

 

If you are talking about Adsense then traffic is what matters. I would prefer to have a PR0 sites with a 500 uniques a day than a PR4 site with lot less traffic.

 

I have a PR2 site that gets about 1200-1500 uniques a day... And 90% of that is from search engines. Google gives me 70% of that.. So go figure? I would also like to get higher PR..

 

Both are important. PR builds authority for your website and Traffic makes money.
