what is your traffic search engine percentile

    hi

    I have 10k daily it is good but my search engine traffic percentile is 4%
    I started my site april 2004.

    what do you think ? it is good? or it is low?
    I got it from awstats

    what is your`s?

    If you are getting a lot of traffic then the lower percentage rate of organic search traffic means you are not putting all of your eggs in one basket which is a very good thing.
    Google is never a "set it and forget it" answer as we all know that SERPs change by the minute quite often.
    We also must keep working to maintain SERPs we have achieved.
    So you are doing quite good for such a small percentage IMHO

    I think 4% is very low. I got around 50% for mine.
    It will be great you can share with us where are most of your visitor come from.

    I get around 80% of total traffic on my site from Search Engines. Out of this most is from Google.

    I'm not getting a traffic in SE right now. Because my websites is new. But in old sites I'm really getting 70% in SE's.

    over 80% of traffic to one of my sites is from google.some of it is indirectly from google,but the first search will have been done on google,like the example below:

    Google Search > Clicks on shopping.com ad > Click to my website

    My site got nearly 75% traffic from search organic results remaining from other promotional sites like blog, directory, book marking.

    hamids68 , May this will help you......
    To increase traffic from search engine, SEO is MUST.
    Basically SEO is related to the keywords, keywords density, back link, unique quality content, meta tag, title, etc
    Finally, layout is not under consideration for search engine. :)
