I get most of the traffic from SEs. About 90% from Search Engines. You need to do some SEO in order to get traffic from SEs.
In order to increase traffic from search engines you must have more back links & good original content.
You should have the bulk inflow from SE. Try some SEO. Get backlinks through forums, blogs, reviews, etc. Referrals are not a good sign for your site.
i'm ranked page 2 for keyword "adsense income" but not very sure for the competitive keyword "adsense"
Last 30 days traffic breakdown : 86.87% - Search Engines 8.07% - Referring Sites 5.06% - Direct Traffic 0.01% - Other [Stats as per google analytics] For getting more traffic from search engines, all you need is some domain authority and articles with long tail keywords in it!
initially i was getting traffic from bookmarks only n direct traffic but now search engine traffic is also coming
I own several sites but want to report the breakdown on two of them to show a point - breakdown doesn't mean very much, actual number of visits do. Site #1 - A hobby site. 92% new visitors. 85% search, 10% refferal, 5% direct Site #2 - A personal blog. 77% new visitors. 18% search, 80% refferal, 2% direct Site #1 performs 15x better than site #2 financially BUT site #2 receives about 1800% more traffic. Casual visitors finding a site by link aren't as motivated to click on ads when compared to someone who just performed a search to find your page. Often times they still have questions or want to see more and the ad provides them with a way out to continue the search. There are are ton of variables to consider but in short a steady following doesn't pay as well as quality content that is highly ranked by SE.
here is mine for 01/sep # Search Engines 1,951.00 (61.41%) #Direct Traffic 683.00 (21.50%) #Referring Sites 543.00 (17.09%)
I get about 55% of my traffic from Search engines.. and 30% are direct traffic and the remaining are from referred sites.
Usually it's like 75% organic, 15% referral and 10% direct. I concentrate the most on article marketing.
