Reform the policies. According to one American official, the System is very old and must be changed.

    Let them fail.

    Let it all fall down.

That is the natural cycle. As older companies or poor companies fail because of their own misdeeds and their own incompetence, new ones will rise from the ashes as always happens.

You must liquidate and rid yourself of bad assets, rather than let them continue on. By giving life support to these companies you turn them into monetary cancers that will spread rather than die. Just as in some people when cancerous cells are detected they are killed off, a slip up can lead to a tumor.

Any company that got bailouts under Bush or Obama should rightfully be dead - instead they are sucking off money from the system and in so doing infecting and metastasizing within our government. They must be stopped and let to die or save themselves.

In 1919 we had a massive market crash after the end of the First World War coupled with a flu epidemic that killed 50 million worldwide. By 1921 the market was back and we had the roaring twenties.

    How?

We let companies that could not survive... die, and previously under Teddy Roosevelt and Howard Taft we had the era of the trustbuster, where robber barons, being capitalists who used criminal means to expand their gains, were attacked and their illegal monopolies and cartels were destroyed.

    What do we have today?

We give them money, we let them do illegal things, then we let it slide. Only a few have been punished compared to the overwhelming corruption of the system thanks to the government being more involved than ever. In the days when it was a hands off market, the only time the government came in was to smash those that used illegal means to grow their wealth.

Now the government is the very thing it once fought to stop.
