I took the time to read through everyone's search engine optimization strategy, everyone has a slightly different approach that they use to get good results with.

I would say that Destinyx3 has my vote for the best answer so far, I agree that the first things that a webmaster should consider are internal SEO factors, including valid code.

When a website is optimized well internally, it makes it much easier to optimize it externally and get results that are desirable.

For Established sites..They focus more on ROI, so they give lesser importance to SEO strategy and develop SEM and other media campaigns to get better ROI....

We have to continuous in building relevant links for the site. That's all. We can also check the search engine friendliness of the site.

 

First and most important in my mind is to really gain a grasp of the niche which means spend many hours reasearching who is in the niche your attempting to gain rank in and see how much work will be neccessary to gain high ranks in the serps. Next I build my site or blog making sure the density is appropriate compared to my competitors. Then I begin a linkbuilding campaign.

 

#1 factor, bar none, forgetting all else - CONTENT and properly putting CONTENT together is the best - content is KING.
