What is your preferred monitor size?

    Hi,

Currently, my laptop has a 14.1-inch screen and my desktop computer has a 17-inch LCD monitor and on top of that, I am beginning to feel that the monitor is getting smaller. This makes me wonder what is the preferred monitor size for DP users. :)

    Cheers,

At home I use a 20.1" Wide Screen LCD and a 19" LCD. At work I have a monster 26" and 19" set of CRT's.

I have been using dual 19"s for about 4 years now. Would really like to try a little larger dual widescreen in the future though.

The only thing I didn't like when I moved to LCD's was that the dual trinitrons that they replaced allowed for a much higher resolution.

19" flat CRT is what I recommend and use. :)

I don't like big screens. I was thinking to get 15 inch LCD But I bought a 17 inch LCD monitor which is quite big for me.

If you count my iBook at home with a 19" to the left and a 20.1" to the right... The screen in the middle is the iBook (14.1") I guess that makes 3.

CRT 15'. I have the normal standard screen size. Nothing big. I am just fine with it.

19" Flat Panel with excelled graphics or whatever they call it. Very nice for browsing. But not so good for designing.

It depends how far away I'm sat. I've got a 15" monitor infront of me now about 2 feet away from my head and that's ok. I'd use a 1000" monitor if I could afford it, had the space, and could sit metres away from it and that'd make me a proper Dr. Evil lol.

I use a 17" at the moment, I'd like to run dual 17" though.

wow... seems like there are quite a number of DP users who use big monitors. Lol... :D
19" seems to be the commonly used one.

I've got a 51" coming day after Thanksgiving. Of course that's and HDTV, but what's to stop me from hooking the computer up to it?

17'' on CRT, 15'' on LCD. I don't know why LCD with 15'' is the same size as 17'' CRT..

It's all a bunch of BS/hype. They measure them diagonally... Just once I would like to buy something that says 20" that is actually TWENTY INCHES.
