What is your own definition of Keyword density?

I'm feeling quite well after join this forum well share me your opinion about Keyword density?
What is your own definition of Keyword density?
any insight will be appreciated

 

Keyword density refers to the number of times a keyword appears in a given text (usually an article).

For instance, if your keyword appears one time in every 100 words in your article, you have a keyword density of 1%; 2 times in every 100 words gets you 2% and so on.

Some SEO professionals will tell you that you want to get a keyword density of between 1 and 5 percent. Personally, I aim for a density of around 2% to 3%.

 

Each and every people follow their own. For example somebodies follow 0 to 1%, 1 to 2%, 2 to 3%..., it depends on their optimization.

 

Well.. Keyword density depend on your content words limit.. All SEO use according to there strategy.. If I'm talking about my self I used 2 to 5% for different experiment on my site. I saw lots of website which are using keywords stuffing but still top on Google...

 

I am following around 5%. But not less than 5.

 

keyword density for the number highlighted keywords of your content and normally if your content is less than 200 words i thinks the percentage of 2 is good other wise it should be less thanks it after the length of the content. Suppose if you put more links on the content a visitor will find it some thing boring type to read the content as we normally see in Wikipedia people get bore while see too many links there. It should be 1 %.

 

keyword density is related to keyword stuffing of keywords. it should not more .

I suggest 2%-3% is best for keywords highlighted in 100 words content. people get your read your content properly and google also catch your 2-3% highlighted keywords easily.

 

Dont too concern on the keyword density, it is find as long as your keyword appear.
However, if you looking for the best, suggest make it about 3%
